Does every chimney need a new liner?+
No. The answer depends on the existing construction, liner condition and connected wood-burning system. A condition-based scope is more useful than an automatic replacement recommendation.
What liner material will be used?+
The written estimate should identify the proposed liner material and the system it is intended to serve. Material should not be left as an unspecified allowance.
Will roof access affect the liner work?+
It can. Chimney height, roof pitch, access and the termination detail all affect installation planning and should be considered before work begins.
